Manicure or Pedicure — Do You Really Need Both?
At the reception desk, we get asked this a lot: 'I only have time for one — should I get a Manicure or a Pedicure?' The truth is they solve two different problems, so the right answer depends on which part of you needs attention first.
A Manicure at Lakmia is built around your hands — cuticle care, shaping and a clean polish finish. It's the quicker of the two, and the one most people book before an event where their hands will actually be visible, like a gifting ceremony or a work presentation.
A Pedicure goes further for your feet — exfoliation and a foot massage on top of the same cuticle care and polish finish. It's our most popular Nails booking, and for good reason: feet carry more daily wear than hands, from dust and standing to closed footwear, so they benefit from the deeper reset.
If you can only fit in one this month, go with whichever part shows the most neglect — cracked heels and rough feet call for a Pedicure, while ragged cuticles and chipped polish on your hands call for a Manicure.
But we'd still recommend both when you can manage it. They're quick to do together in one visit, and doing hands and feet on the same schedule keeps both looking consistently well-kept instead of one catching up while the other falls behind.
Either way, it's a simple, affordable way to feel more put-together — no occasion required.
